3-D Imaging and Dental Implant Planning

Our office is equipped with CBCT (cone beam commuted tomography). This is a low radiation variant of the medical CAT scan which allows the doctor to visualize patient anatomy in much greater detail than traditional two dimensional dental x rays.  This technology is used for early diagnoses of tumors and disease as well as comprehensive implant planning. We are able to identify bone contours, nerve and tooth position, virtually try in implants and fabricate a surgical guide if needed to optimize the accuracy and safety of the surgical procedure.  In addition to diagnosis and treatment planning in our own office, we also provide a la carte 3-D imaging for our referring doctors.
